I first experienced Drag in 1962 at Finocchios in S.F. Again in the mid 80's in S.F. I viewed a showing of COMMON THREADS A sign at the door said THE QUILT SEE IT AND UNDERSTAND. I've never forgotten it.I became aware of AAS-C by going to play DRAG BINGO. I immediately became an unabashed camp following groupie of MARY K and the BVD's always coming early to get a front seat. In a weak moment I told Mary I just knew I was a Drag Queen trapped in a straight woman's body and in Dec.2003 voila Miss Diagnosed was born.

 

I am grateful to be a volunteer with such an accepting, empathic group of people who understand and will not forget those lost those living and those we must protect.
